Final Draft: Minus Twenty

I really liked the outcome of this. The purple matches my calming skincare magazine perfectly. Changing the baby pink color to purple definitely will attract my audience more. I removed the border lines on my magazine, along with a few images. My magazine looked very simple and even I feel calm about it.

Production 3- Final Editing

I used indesign for my magazine. It was hard for me to figure a few things out because im not used to it.

Production 2- Final Changes

I had to take pictures last minute, so that means my magazine will be finished last minute. It was hard to get Rhonda Holb to take pictures because she was always at work and never had the opportunity. Getting dee Bennett to my location was a little difficult than Rhonda Holb because she lives 40 minutes away from my location. Everything did work out because Dee was able to come down to my location. I took dee outside of my front yard because it had a beautiful landscape- surrounded by flowers and bushes. She posed for pictures so she can be credited. Eventually, I was able to capture some photos of Rhonda Holb. We were able to get lunch together and I thought it would be a good opportunity to capture pictures of her, so she can be credited.

Production 1- New Photos

The plan is to take a picture of Miss Holb's face. The picture would be an extreme close up, so the audience can see fine lines and wrinkles of a middle aged woman. I took pictures of Rhonda's and Dee's face productions- sunscreen, moisturizer, and serum. I was planning to go out and take pictures of other products, but I decided not do because these two women are in their middle age. It is a better idea to take pictures of the products they are actually using. I did research on how kale and tofu can help with anti aging and asked Rhonda's opinion on it, she agreed. I originally had kale and tofu in the refrigerator, so I took pictures of my products. Taking pictures was not hard because I had everything I needed.

Peer Review

I presented my magazine to Ms. Gartland and my fellow classmates. Ny magazine was based on middle aged women. As I was presenting my classmates, along with my teacher, gave me a peer review of my magazine. My concept was skincare and diet. They suggested that I change the theme color of my magazine because it is girly. I agreed because my color was "bumblegum pink". My classmates told me change it to a bolder color that coordinates with my middle aged women content. They told me maybe do red. They complimented the title of magazine and said, "I really like the name minus twenty". Since the color of my front color was more soothing, they suggested I do a blue color or a soothing and calming color to match with my front cover. One of my classmates really like the black on my featured article. They prefer I match my color instead of doing different colors. I have to retake the picture of the front cover of my magazine because I did not take it. My peers stated that my ...
